About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and implement territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and business goals
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with hematologists/oncologists, nursing staff, office staff, and other oncology patient-care stakeholders
  • Collaborate with peers, territory partners, cross-functional teams, and external counterparts in a co-promotion environment
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals
  • Present approved disease-state and product information using persuasive selling skills within promotional policies
  • Use sales analytics and customer intelligence to create strategic territory plans
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies using approved resources
  • Maintain knowledge of the marketplace, territory changes, disease states, and products
  • Develop and execute call plans to achieve metrics and optimize customer coverage and frequency
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies governing activities
  • Report to the Senior District Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years Hematology/Oncology sales experience preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Consultative selling style
  • Competitive selling skills
  • Ability to work within a highly collaborative, team environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Must pass AbbVie/Pharmacyclics’s background check
  • Must pass additional institutional and health facility screening as required, which may include background checks, immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, and drug screening
  • Regular business travel by air or car is required
