About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and implement territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and business goals
- Develop professional relationships with oncologists, nursing staff, office staff, and others in the oncology patient-care continuum
- Collaborate with peers, territory partners, external counterparts, and the extended team network
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals
- Present approved disease-state and product information using persuasive selling skills within AbbVie Promotional Policy
- Use sales analytics and customer intelligence to create strategic territory plans
- Execute sales and marketing strategies with cross-functional partners and approved resources
- Maintain knowledge of marketplace changes, territory developments, disease states, and products
- Develop and execute call plans to achieve metrics and optimize coverage and frequency for key customers
- Comply with laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or clinical experience as an RN, APRN, PA, or RPh
- Preferred 3+ years of oncology or oncology diagnostics sales experience, including solid tumors
- Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations
- Exceptional clear and effective communication skills
- Consultative and competitive selling skills
- Ability to work within a highly collaborative team environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Successful completion of AbbVie’s background check and any required institutional or health-facility screening
- Business travel by air or car is regularly required
- Ability to drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
