About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop tailored strategies and clear engagement plans for key accounts, with defined objectives and activities to optimize the utilization and funding of AbbVie products
  • Serve as AbbVie’s primary contact for non-clinical stakeholders; build trusted relationships and understand their priorities, constraints, and decision-making processes
  • Actively participate in brand teams and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectives
  • Drive business growth by anticipating barriers to product use and supporting provider formulary access to help achieve revenue targets
  • Coordinate internal interactions, build consensus, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues where necessary
  • Monitor contracting and tender activity across key accounts
  • Build and manage relationships across the account ecosystem
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams without formal authority, aligning stakeholders and resolving challenges within the field team
  • Implement engagement plans and ensure consistent interaction across all in-field functions involved with the account
  • Partner with Market Access and Value Proposition colleagues to provide stakeholders with tailored clinical, economic, and service-oriented information
  • Track execution and impact of account activities and regularly measure performance
  • Negotiate, close, and sign agreements, and support or lead the contracting and tendering processes as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in economics, law, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in a sales or commercial role within the healthcare environment
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including provider and payer environments and healthcare funding flows
  • Highly developed influencing skills, with strong political awareness and sound judgment
  • Known for authenticity, integrity, and trustworthiness
  • Solid understanding of cost pressure, containment measures, and provider needs
  • Business-fluent in English and French; German is an advantage
