About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Function as a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs)
Engage directly with HCP offices to address patient access and reimbursement inquiries
Deliver expertise regarding coverage, reimbursement challenges, and support tools
Educate HCPs on AbbVie patient support programs and product acquisition options
Offer localized expertise on national and regional payer policies
Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center
Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams
Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers
Maintain current knowledge on managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in immunology or access and reimbursement
Expertise in market access and payer account management
Demonstrate expertise in drug acquisition and dispensing in specialty biologics
Exceptional territory and strategic account management abilities
Proven leadership record within current role
Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level
Ability to build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders without authority
Bachelor’s degree is required
