Reports into the Clinical Study Leadership SMAO Director.
Responsible for managing a regional team of 15-17 Study Management Associates.
Drive for best-in-class study execution.
Performance management of direct reports.
Provides professional success opportunities for SMAs.
Manage business continuity and resource management.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and training.
Develop relationships with direct reports and stakeholders.
Support efficiencies and process improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree required, degree in health care or scientific field preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience.
6+ years of relevant study operations management and people management experience.
At least (3) years of direct people management experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Successful coaching/mentoring, directly or in a matrix environment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Experience in drug development/clinical operations.
