Sales Representative, Gastroenterology

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Territory development: You will independently build and expand your territory, deepen existing networks and implement your own clearly defined projects — from concept to outcome with planned follow-up
- Account planning: You will develop precise account plans, derive concrete stakeholder-engagement activities from them and implement these with focus
- Training & congresses: You will initiate, design and organize target-group-oriented training and be present at relevant congresses — always with specific follow-up
- Preparation & documentation: You will prepare appointments carefully, conduct conversations with purpose and document your activities in a structured manner — quality over quantity
- Market monitoring & collaboration: You will monitor market developments in your territory, actively contribute insights and promote reciprocal information flow within the cross-functional in-field team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in Pharmacy, Human Medicine, Dental Medicine or Veterinary Medicine, and/or completion of pharmaceutical sales representative training
- Several years of field-based experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrably above-average sales results desirable
- Experience working within an in-field team and in responsible interdisciplinary project leadership within a matrix organization
- Ability to present complex scientific information in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and to discuss it with different customer groups
- Strong persuasive skills, a confident presenter and closer with excellent communication skills
- High motivation and energy to pursue and achieve goals
- Excellent performance management skills to continuously optimize sales target achievement
- Strong digital competence and proficient use of field-force software as well as MS Office
- Very good German and good English language skills
