About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understands patient engagement, advocacy and centricity
Build strategic, long-term relationships with patient associations
Collaborate with people living with diseases and patient associations
Develop and lead a strategic, pro-active patient relations agenda
Develop and implement advocacy strategies and action plans
Provide input/ insights on trends and opportunities
Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Monitor patient-related activities and report back to brand teams
Partner with Area and Global on strategic programs
Represent AbbVie at relevant meetings
Drive innovation by identifying new ways to learn from patients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience
Bachelor in Communications, Nursing, Public Affairs or any other relevant discipline
Advanced proficiency in English and/or French; preference to bilingual candidates
Experience in working with patient associations
Experience in patient/stakeholder relations, market access and/or marketing.
Intermediate computer & software skills (MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook and Internet)
