About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact and convey AbbVie’s brand promise to healthcare providers
- Understand customers’ needs and develop tailored solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with experts and key opinion leaders
- Use innovative engagement methods to create new business opportunities
- Set SMART goals and develop successful sales account plans
- Analyze sales reports and market data to identify and implement strategic actions
- Promote collaboration between field and office teams
- Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in natural sciences, nursing, or a business-related discipline
- Experience in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in field-based positions
- Strong negotiation skills, proactivity, and a team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and willingness to work with new digital technologies
- Broad knowledge of products, therapies, and competitors
