About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform all aspects of account management
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships
  • Work with internal teams to manage and identify key target account opportunities
  • Develop product strategies to penetrate key accounts
  • Provide strategic and tactical direction regarding target accounts
  • Advise sales and marketing management on challenges and opportunities within key accounts
  • Analyze and support channel specific training needs within the Region
  • Develop an annual business plan with goals and objectives to increase sales volume
  • Identify local opportunities and threats and develop business plans accordingly
  • Understand and effectively utilize financial and quantitative data
  • Partner with Field Sales Managers to evaluate non-retail account drivers
  • Drive target account volume and share growth through analysis and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred
  • 3+ Years of Health Science Field or Sales experience with a minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales
  • In lieu of degree 8+ Years of Health Science Sales experience with minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales
  • Demonstrated ability to network and partner effectively across functional areas
  • Excellent organizational/project management and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Proven record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
  • Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, as well as overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings
  • Must satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements
