About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all aspects of account management
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships
- Work with internal teams to manage and identify key target account opportunities
- Develop product strategies to penetrate key accounts
- Provide strategic and tactical direction regarding target accounts
- Advise sales and marketing management on challenges and opportunities within key accounts
- Analyze and support channel specific training needs within the Region
- Develop an annual business plan with goals and objectives to increase sales volume
- Identify local opportunities and threats and develop business plans accordingly
- Understand and effectively utilize financial and quantitative data
- Partner with Field Sales Managers to evaluate non-retail account drivers
- Drive target account volume and share growth through analysis and recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred
- 3+ Years of Health Science Field or Sales experience with a minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales
- In lieu of degree 8+ Years of Health Science Sales experience with minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales
- Demonstrated ability to network and partner effectively across functional areas
- Excellent organizational/project management and demonstrated leadership skills
- Proven record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
- Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, as well as overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings
- Must satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements
