About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Put your expertise to use and join our team as a Field Sales Representative Dermatology (all genders).
  • Provide scientific information, present and promote the relevant AbbVie products to office-based specialists and hospital specialists in accordance with § 75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG) "duties of pharmaceutical representatives".
  • Target-group-oriented presentation and marketing of our products in line with the defined brand strategy.
  • For this, you will use a broad omnichannel approach as part of the appropriate marketing mix.
  • Design, organize and conduct continuing medical education events and represent the company at regional and national events.
  • Continuous market analysis using available data with regard to the sales development of your own product and competitors, identification of opportunities and critical trends, and derivation of corresponding strategic activities for targeting and account plans.
  • Development, coordination and implementation of a territory plan within the in-field team.
  • Collection of market information and customer insights and determination of the customer’s position in the sales cycle.
  • Regular communication with your regional manager, colleagues and other cross-functional areas and promotion of continuous exchange of experience and ideas.
  • Proactive and continuous commitment to customer needs.
  • Co-responsibility for achieving regional targets.
  • Professional reporting: timely and proper completion of all administrative tasks.
  • Compliance with all applicable role requirements as well as legal and regulatory obligations including procedures and processes on ethics and compliance and the "Principles for Business Conduct (Code of Business Conduct)".

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed university degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Pharmaceutical sales representative training or the required expertise in accordance with §75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
  • Previous successful field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
  • Ability to present complex scientific information in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and to engage with different customer groups.
  • Strong persuasive skills and a results-driven personality with excellent communication skills.
  • High level of agility and motivation to pursue and achieve goals.
  • Strong digital proficiency and analytical skills combined with creativity.
  • Pioneering spirit and a pronounced drive for success, including a commitment to personal development within the company.
  • Flexibility, willingness to commit and team spirit.
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
