About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Put your expertise to work and join our team as a Field Sales Representative, Dermatology (all genders).
  • Provide scientific information, present, and promote the relevant AbbVie products to office-based specialists and hospital-based specialists.
  • Targeted presentation and promotion of our products in line with the defined brand strategy.
  • Design, organize, and conduct continuing education events and represent the company at regional and national events.
  • Continuously analyze the market using available data with regard to the sales development of our products and those of competitors.
  • Identify opportunities and critical developments and derive appropriate strategic activities.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a territory plan within the in-field team.
  • Collect market information and customer insights and determine the customer’s position in the sales cycle.
  • Maintain regular communication with your regional manager, colleagues, and other cross-functional areas.
  • Proactively and continuously advocate for customer needs.
  • Share responsibility for achieving regional targets.
  • Professional reporting: timely and proper completion of all administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable role requirements as well as legal and regulatory obligations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in a scientific discipline, training as a pharmaceutical sales representative, or the required expertise in accordance with Section 75 of the German Medicines Act (Arzneimittelgesetz).
  • Previous successful field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Ability to present complex scientific information in a target-group-appropriate manner and to discuss it with diverse customer groups.
  • Strong persuasiveness and a results-oriented personality with excellent communication skills.
  • High level of agility and motivation to pursue and achieve goals.
  • Strong digital competence and analytical skills combined with creativity.
  • Pioneering spirit and a strong drive for success, including personal development within the company.
  • Flexibility, commitment, and team spirit.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Enthusiastic, empathetic, and enjoys working in sales.
