About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Strategic Account Executives in driving adoption of Abbott Diabetes Care’s product portfolio, including continuous glucose monitoring, at health systems within an assigned territory
  • Partner with clinical and administrative stakeholders to design, implement, and drive adoption of health system solutions
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Executives on account strategies and execution plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders throughout workflow advisory, implementation, and adoption
  • Analyze existing workflows and consult on workflow changes required for new functionality and solutions
  • Support solution implementation across customer facilities with internal technical specialists
  • Facilitate change management, solution testing, and comprehensive customer training plans
  • Provide staff support and workflow training for onboarding patients
  • Define and document desired outcomes and KPIs based on customer needs
  • Participate in professional IT and EMR implementation organizations and share knowledge and lessons learned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of work experience in clinical consulting, field sales, product marketing, systems analysis, agency, or medical/clinical experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, and/or biotech industry
  • Excellent problem solving, relationship building, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Process management skills, including end-to-end mapping and systems analysis abilities
  • Professionalism when interacting with customers
  • Ability to prepare and deliver effective oral and written communications
  • Skill in crafting and executing change management actions and communications
  • Proven ability to manage projects and time
  • Prior clinical training and adult education delivery experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight travel, 50%–75%
  • Preferred: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with hospital and/or outpatient experience
  • Preferred: Experience developing or consulting on clinical protocols and/or workflows
  • Preferred: Diabetes disease-area knowledge and experience with related products such as glucose monitors and pumps
