About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide on-going field support and will focus on growing the market awareness for TAVI and related disease states, including launching new products
  • Work closely with the sales team and be responsible for aspects of US strategy implementation including digital strategy and channel execution
  • Measure success against sales and margin expectations, sales force competency/knowledge level and development of marketing programs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs
  • Contribute to annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT situation assessment
  • Manage field device demo needs, tracking sales & patient resource utilization, and working with communications manager to manage promotional collateral
  • Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project manager to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones
  • Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new US materials
  • Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Drive to deliver Sales, Margin, and key performance metrics for TAVR products
  • Be responsive and able to directly address questions and requests of senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior marketing experience within medical device or healthcare industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years related marketing or product management experience, preferably in TAVI/TAVR
  • MBA with 4+ years of related experience also considered
  • Relevant downstream marketing experience
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
  • Able to understand technical and scientific information
  • Able to handle a fast-paced working environment
  • Substantial financial skills, market analysis and advanced communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills as well as written and oral communication skills
