About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and execute Western Canada’s stakeholder engagement strategy
- Drive strategic and tactical planning activities
- Develop and maintain strategic relations with key external stakeholders
- Monitor political, economic, and social factors affecting public policy
- Provide insights and collaborate with internal teams
- Develop and implement strategies to support government relations
- Manage resources such as external agencies and budgets
- Serve as a resource to internal businesses/functions
- Ensure regular, proactive communication to align external activities
- Provide informed direction and guidance to ADC
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Master’s Degree or PhD (preferred)
- Minimum five plus years of experience
- Proven track record in stakeholder relations
- Strong understanding of public policy, HTA, and regulatory environments
- Experience engaging with government policy makers
- Strategic relationship-building
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Project management and resource oversight
- Healthcare industry knowledge
- PC literate including Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25%+)
