About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and own the architecture vision and roadmap for digital and eCommerce platforms
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, governance, and best practices across solutions and integrations
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex initiatives spanning web, mobile, CRM, marketing, and commerce platforms
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs while balancing strategy with pragmatic delivery
- Define and implement integration strategies using APIs, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native services
- Oversee integration across platforms, including Magento and related commerce tools
- Partner with delivery teams to manage timelines, risks, and dependencies across programs
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, aligning technology strategy with business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps practices, and release processes to enhance delivery speed and quality
- Evaluate emerging technologies, vendors, and industry trends to keep platforms future-ready
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience delivering large-scale enterprise solutions in digital and eCommerce environments
- Proven expertise in solution architecture for eCommerce ecosystems, including commerce flows and payment systems
- Strong experience implementing commerce tools and platforms in a commerce context
- Deep knowledge of integration architecture, including MuleSoft and API-led strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in regulated environments and global, matrixed organizations
