About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive business growth and revenue for the informatics portfolio across assigned European markets
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, including enterprise level customers, multi country agreements, and strategic accounts
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline aligned with regional and corporate growth targets
  • Support country sales teams in complex deals, including value proposition development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
  • Lead or contribute to RFP/RFQ responses and high value customer presentations
  • Define and execute a European business development strategy for informatics solutions in alignment with global objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, including C level executives, IT leaders, laboratory managers, clinical leaders, and procurement stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Implementation, Project Management, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery and long term customer satisfaction
  • Support training and enablement of local sales teams on informatics offerings and value-based selling
  • Accurately track opportunities, forecasts, and activities in CRM systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, IT or related
  • Fluency in English, French and German
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within point of care, informatics, healthcare IT, software, or diagnostics
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high‑value deals in a multi‑stakeholder environment
  • Strong understanding of informatics solutions (e.g., LIS, middleware, analytics, interoperability, digital health platforms)
  • Experience working across multiple European markets and cultures
  • Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, highly structured and organised
  • Self-driven with strong results orientation
  • Willingness to travel across the region in scope c.30-40% of the time
