About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive business growth and revenue for the informatics portfolio across assigned European markets
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, including enterprise level customers, multi country agreements, and strategic accounts
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline aligned with regional and corporate growth targets
- Support country sales teams in complex deals, including value proposition development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
- Lead or contribute to RFP/RFQ responses and high value customer presentations
- Define and execute a European business development strategy for informatics solutions in alignment with global objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, including C level executives, IT leaders, laboratory managers, clinical leaders, and procurement stakeholders
- Collaborate with Implementation, Project Management, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery and long term customer satisfaction
- Support training and enablement of local sales teams on informatics offerings and value-based selling
- Accurately track opportunities, forecasts, and activities in CRM systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, IT or related
- Fluency in English, French and German
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within point of care, informatics, healthcare IT, software, or diagnostics
- Proven track record of closing complex, high‑value deals in a multi‑stakeholder environment
- Strong understanding of informatics solutions (e.g., LIS, middleware, analytics, interoperability, digital health platforms)
- Experience working across multiple European markets and cultures
- Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, highly structured and organised
- Self-driven with strong results orientation
- Willingness to travel across the region in scope c.30-40% of the time
