Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement short- and long- term strategic plans for Product Development to ensure global Product Development Engineering and overall business objectives are met
Partner with other departments, identify needs and demands, understand technologies and trends, and deliver innovative and optimal technology solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, R&D, Quality, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, and other functions as needed to ensure effective commercialization of new products
Oversee effectiveness of manufacturing systems and procedures to ensure compliance to FDA, GMP, and all other applicable agency regulations
Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements
Hires and retains a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, multi-product, global manufacturing environment
Minimum 5 years in a hands-on product development technical role
Track record of innovating effectively in a big company environment and delivering safe and effective product solutions on budget and on time
Ability to provide technical guidance to engineering teams in innovating solutions for treatment of complex disease states
