Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT Business Relationship Managers to gather, analyze, and document business processes and their associated system requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and ensure alignment with project objectives and clarity with development team.
Partner with technical architects and developers to ensure business requirements can be met.
Work together to make certain the solution is designed and development to meet those requirements.
Facilitate solution reviews and demos with business and technical teams.
Prepare and maintain SDLC documentation, including documents such as user requirements, functional specifications, and validation protocols.
Support testing activities, including test case development and execution.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Abbott’s quality processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to resolve issues and optimize system functionality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
0-2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex business processes and propose effective solutions.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Desire to learn and expand skills through self-study, coaching, and hands-on job experience.
Preferred: Hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related modules).
Strong understanding of SDLC processes and documentation in a regulated environment.
Experience in the healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industry.
Familiarity with validation requirements for regulated systems (e.g., FDA, GxP).
Salesforce certifications (Administrator or Business Analyst).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
