Drive full manufacturing site transformations through software and automation solutions in the IT/OT environment for global manufacturing facilities.
Design and develop POMS software in the IT/OT environment for facilities across Abbott.
Collaboratively develop, troubleshoot, and maintain standard MES and automation architecture.
Act as subject matter experience with MES and industrial automation.
Support site critical MES enhancement projects, including hardware upgrade, process streamline, architecture upgrade, recipe delivery, and testing coordination.
Partner with functional groups within the IT organization to communicate and clarify business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred / 9+ years’ experience.
At least 7 years’ experience with C# or Java software development & designing
Experience with global scale manufacturing systems (POMSNet) development, integration, and support
Strong skills in methods and technologies to support manufacturing data integrations (SQL, Web Services, data mapping, etc.)
Experience with Oracle Pl/SQL, Label printers, Scanners Configuration and support
Knowledge and experience with all phases of Software Lifecycle (SLC) in a GXP environment
Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ, authoring validation documents and execution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
