About the role
- Promote and sell Abbott medical devices to the specialized medical community
- Provide scientific information and product benefits within your product segment
- Achieve defined sales targets
- Identify the most appropriate physician panels to visit by selecting target audiences using predefined criteria
- Plan and execute scheduled visits, define action strategies, and maintain follow-up
- Serve as the interface between customers and the company’s various departments to assist and expedite internal procedures
- Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts as established by the division
- Monitor payments due to Abbott from clients in your portfolio
- Track the commercial and financial performance of your client portfolio
- Identify client needs and opportunities, proposing actions for special projects
- Participate in congresses and medical events
- Manage the budget allocated to your region
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (completed)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales within the medical devices sector with a focus on cardiology
- Intermediate English for reading technical materials
- Sales techniques
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Previous experience in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM/pacemaker) sector is a plus
