About the role
- Promote and sell Abbott products to the healthcare community by visiting physicians, distributors, pharmacies, etc., providing information and product benefits and meeting defined commercial targets.
- Position the product concept within the diabetes care segment, keeping distributors, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other professionals involved in the commercialization or use of Abbott products informed and up to date.
- Maintain ongoing relationships and follow-up with customers in your portfolio to foster long-term commercial relationships and monitor each customer's results.
- Prospect new clients by planning visits, defining engagement strategies, and offering Abbott products in the diabetes care segment.
- Train pharmacists, pharmacy counter staff, nurses, and other professionals involved in selling or using the products to provide information and/or enable correct product use.
- Facilitate the implementation of diabetes screening campaigns using Abbott products, and participate in congresses, events, and campaigns in the field.
- Maintain company-defined controls and records, preparing reports on your activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical market working in medical demand/medical detailing.
- Experience working with diabetes products is a plus.
