About the role

  • Design and develop manufacturing recipes using POMS software across global facilities
  • Collaborate with business units, engineering, and infrastructure teams to align MES and automation solutions with business goals
  • Act as a subject matter expert in MES and industrial automation
  • Implement robust manufacturing systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Integrate MES with PLM, ERP, and shop floor systems
  • Create and update POMSnet recipes and base data
  • Lead end-to-end process flow understanding, from requirement gathering to recipe development
  • Support critical MES enhancement projects including hardware upgrades, architecture improvements, and testing coordination
  • Follow Computerized Systems Validation and Software Lifecycle (SLC) methodologies
  • Assess technical needs and propose scalable, cost-effective solutions
  • Partner with IT functional groups to ensure alignment with long-term system strategies
  • Lead technical teams in developing and implementing new products or operational improvements
  • Conduct performance monitoring, capacity planning, and system upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 6-7 + years in software development and manufacturing systems
  • 4-5+ years of hands-on experience with C# or Java
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Experience with POMSNet development and support
  • Expertise in SQL, Web Services, Oracle PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with label printers, scanner configuration, and support
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Experience with equipment integration and shop floor systems
  • Proven ability to implement strategies that improve process efficiency
  • Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ, validation documentation, and execution
  • Knowledge of GxP environments and full Software Lifecycle (SLC)
