About the role

  • Operating independently within your territory, you are responsible for sales planning of Abbott Medical GmbH products in the area of Heart Failure Mechanical Circulatory Support (HF MCS).
  • You have full revenue responsibility for your assigned territory.
  • You serve as the point of contact for clinical users as well as staff from administration, procurement, medical departments, and other stakeholders at the facilities you support.
  • Provide technical support for customer trainings and educational sessions.
  • Develop account plans and manage customer relationships, including acquisition of new customers.
  • Plan the marketing budget for your territory and ensure compliance with budgetary limits.
  • Participate in national and international cardiovascular and cardiac surgery congresses to strengthen customer relationships and coordinate activities with the team.
  • Organize and conduct local scientific events in cooperation with the implant center.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual reviews with all customers regarding the development of business relationships.

Requirements

  • University degree (e.g., biomedical engineering, engineering, natural sciences) or clinical qualification with solid experience in clinical sales.
  • Experience in cardiology, cardiac surgery, or the MCS environment is an advantage.
  • Ideally, you have sales or marketing experience in the cardiology and/or cardiac surgery market.
  • Professional qualification as a medical device consultant according to the German Medical Devices Act (MPG) is desirable.
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills, and creativity in developing customer-specific solutions.
  • High level of initiative and flexibility, and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and proficiency in English.
