About the role

  • Develop and expand TAVI therapy within existing and new hospital accounts across South Africa.
  • Lead market assessments and identify growth opportunities.
  • Onboard new centers and work closely with internal Abbott teams and distributor partners.
  • Act as a trusted clinical and strategic partner to cardiology teams supporting procedures and education.
  • Track activity, outcomes, and implants using Salesforce.com and provide regular reporting to management.

Requirements

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related healthcare field is essential.
  • 3–5+ years in sales or clinical roles within a cardiology hospital environment.
  • Proven TAVR/TAVI therapy experience, including clinical case support is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in market share growth and market expansion.
  • Experience operating within a corporate, matrixed environment.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ on a national basis.
