About the role

  • Technical support for Abbott Molecular Diagnostics (AMD) customers on-site (repairs)
  • Schedule and perform planned preventive maintenance (PM)
  • Equipment installations and deinstallations (installations and removals)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction based on Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Meet service KPIs and ensure business growth and profitability for the territory

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, preferably in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Medical Technology, or completed vocational training in one of these fields with several years of professional experience
  • Initial experience in field service and customer service
  • Proven ability to work successfully with customers, preferably with laboratory staff
  • Technical expert with product line responsibility
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Solid experience working with analytical tools and software
  • Fluent German and good English skills
