About the role

  • Promote ABBOTT products to the healthcare community by visiting physicians, distributors, pharmacies, and other stakeholders, providing information about the products and their benefits, and meeting defined commercial targets.
  • Position product concepts within the diabetes care segment, keeping distributors, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other professionals involved in the commercialization or use of ABBOTT products informed and up to date.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships and regular follow-up with clients in your portfolio to encourage long-term commercial relationships and monitor each client’s results.
  • Prospect new clients by planning visits, defining outreach strategies, and offering ABBOTT products in the diabetes care segment.
  • Train pharmacists, pharmacy staff, nurses, and other professionals involved in the sale or use of the products to provide information and/or enable correct product use.
  • Facilitate diabetes screening campaigns using ABBOTT products, and participate in conferences, events, and industry campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher;
  • Sales techniques;
  • Experience generating demand in the healthcare industry in the relevant sector;
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical market and with diabetes care is a plus
