About the role
- Install and implement new molecular diagnostic systems at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, hardware/software upgrades, and repairs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues by phone and on-site, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide hands-on support and training for software and hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate closely with Application Support Specialists and Commercial teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage your own tools and spare parts inventory according to Abbott standards.
- Represent Abbott professionally and maintain strong customer relationships.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in a technical discipline (engineering, electronics, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and a customer-first mindset.
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken) in addition to fluent Swedish.
- Willingness to travel within Sweden.
- Up to 5 years of experience in a technical role—or a strong motivation to learn if you’re a recent graduate.
