About the role

  • Install and implement new molecular diagnostic systems at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, hardware/software upgrades, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues by phone and on-site, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide hands-on support and training for software and hardware upgrades.
  • Collaborate closely with Application Support Specialists and Commercial teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage your own tools and spare parts inventory according to Abbott standards.
  • Represent Abbott professionally and maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in a technical discipline (engineering, electronics, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken) in addition to fluent Swedish.
  • Willingness to travel within Sweden.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in a technical role—or a strong motivation to learn if you’re a recent graduate.
