About the role
- Working in the region on Abbott’s Stroke Prevention offering.
- Ensure the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives.
- Formulate sales strategies for markets within the assigned geography and product lines.
- Work with sales representatives to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential.
- Manage and coach the activities of sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel.
- Negotiate contracts with external customers.
- Keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.
- Recruits, coaches, and develops organizational talent.
- Fosters a diverse workplace enabling all participants to contribute to their full potential.
- Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of related work experience or related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Ability to provide direction and monitor progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff toward departmental goals.
- Monitor costs of projects and of human and material resources within a department or unit.
- Monitor company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability.
- Monitor external environment in area of technical or professional responsibility.
- Able to perform this job in a quality system environment.
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.
