About the role

  • Working in the region on Abbott’s Stroke Prevention offering.
  • Ensure the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives.
  • Formulate sales strategies for markets within the assigned geography and product lines.
  • Work with sales representatives to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential.
  • Manage and coach the activities of sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel.
  • Negotiate contracts with external customers.
  • Keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.
  • Recruits, coaches, and develops organizational talent.
  • Fosters a diverse workplace enabling all participants to contribute to their full potential.
  • Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of related work experience or related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to provide direction and monitor progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff toward departmental goals.
  • Monitor costs of projects and of human and material resources within a department or unit.
  • Monitor company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability.
  • Monitor external environment in area of technical or professional responsibility.
  • Able to perform this job in a quality system environment.
  • Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.
