About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell Emergency Lighting products, systems and services within a designated market/division
  • Achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets for order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities
  • Communicate with customers about delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions
  • Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate the value proposition to customers
  • Identify and drive development of new market opportunities
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed
  • Monitor customer and market trends with the marketing team
  • Work with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
  • Contribute to the Emergency Lighting Business in Ireland, Wales and the Midlands

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Emergency Lighting, Mains Lighting, Lighting Controls or high-level Life Safety Systems
  • Experience in Field Sales, Business Development, Account Management or Sales Engineering
  • Ability to demonstrate project and design performance with Emergency Lighting Self-Contained and Central Power Systems
  • Understanding of BS5499, EN1838 and EN50171
  • Engagement with IoT and controls
  • Understanding of electrical installations and industrial and commercial building markets
  • Established customer relationship management, presentation delivery and customer concern resolution skills
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to drive sales and work independently while managing own diary and updating CRM
  • English communication proficiency
  • Current driving licence valid in the United Kingdom
