About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support deployment of quality strategy at a global organizational level, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams
Assist the organization in achieving prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable problem solutions
Collaborate with necessary functions to achieve quality targets and world-class performance
Participate in defining and implementing short-, medium-, and long-term strategy, activities, and planning for the quality management system
Perform audits and/or ensure audits are performed to assess compliance with the defined system
Promote the vision of zero defect and establish mechanisms to fulfill ABB, customer, and stakeholder requirements
Act as process owner for defined quality-related processes, systems, or tools
Define and document plans, implement and communicate actions, supervise and control progress, and drive continuous process improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience
MBA is a plus
10+ Years Quality Management Experience, including auditing, writing/maintaining a QMS, supervision of testers and inspectors, and root cause analysis
Certified Lead Quality Auditor for, at a minimum, ISO 9001:2015
Expert in ISO 9001:2015 and upcoming 2026
Demonstrated leadership in driving change, leading cross-functional training and meetings, and leveraging strong analytical, planning, communication, and persuasive skills
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies and measures, with emphasis on root cause and failure resolution for complex technical issues
Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification preferred
Ability to travel approximately 25% as needed
