About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Initiate and drive technology, software, product, and/or solution development.
- Act as the first point of contact in Research and Development (R&D) for product or technology-related issues.
- Support strategic corporate technology management and future product/software/solution architecture.
- Define and communicate a clear vision and long-term strategy for the infrastructure services.
- Own and manage the product backlog, balancing new feature requests with technical debt prioritization.
- Foster strong communication across development teams, system architects, product managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Partner closely with cybersecurity and safety teams to incorporate safeguards against potential threats.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BE (Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, ) or MCA with 12 +years overall Experience in Product Development on Linux environments and deployments.
- Solid understanding of Linux operating system fundamentals, including kernel parameters, file systems, networking, and process management.
- Experience with Linux command-line tools (`grep`, `awk`, `sed`, `curl`) for troubleshooting and system analysis.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automating common testing tasks and log analysis.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture, including control plane components (`kube-api server`, `etcd`, `kube-scheduler`,etc.) and worker node components (`kubelet`, `kube-proxy`).
- Hands-on experience testing Kubernetes clusters, preferably lightweight distributions like K3s, Micro Shift, or other edge-specific platforms.
- Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP routing, DNS, VLANs, load balancing) and experience with network troubleshooting tools (`tcpdump`, `wireshark`).
