About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead financial governance, planning, reporting, analytics and business partnering across ABB’s global real estate portfolio.
- Advise Real Estate leadership and senior stakeholders on financial performance, investments, portfolio decisions, lease-versus-buy evaluations and strategic initiatives.
- Lead global planning, forecasting and reporting for the Real Estate Division; review performance, risks and opportunities; and support assurance and management reporting.
- Govern capex planning and reporting, maintain allocation methodologies and improve transparency of occupancy cost reporting and benchmarking.
- Lead the Real Estate Finance and Data Management Center of Excellence, standardizing processes, controls, reporting models and service delivery.
- Strengthen data quality, dashboards, KPIs and analytics, support digital transformation and contribute to accurate ESG-related reporting.
- Provide real estate finance expertise for acquisitions, divestments, integrations, carve-outs, restructuring and portfolio optimization.
- Lead and develop a global team, build strong stakeholder relationships, promote best practice sharing and champion ABB’s values.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, controlling, FP&A or related disciplines.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, performance management and business partnering.
- Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders.
- Experience in capital-intensive businesses and complex global organizations; real estate finance, lease accounting or asset/facility management finance experience preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills and experience with SAP, Power BI, data analytics and enterprise reporting tools.
- Track record of driving process improvement, standardization and automation.
- Fluent in English.
