About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within the North Dakota trade area.
- Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
- Communicate to customers about delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions.
- Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value proposition to customers.
- Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in STEM (preferred) or Business, and 4+ years' experience, OR, Associate's Degree and 7+ years' experience, OR HS Diploma and 10+ years' experience in electrical industry.
- Direct sales experience in the electrical industry required.
- Demonstrated strong verbal/written and presentation skills to all levels in an organization
- Demonstrated strong problem solving, selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time
- Broad business acumen, ability to plan and execute on plans
- Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
