About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Building and executing an overall OPTIMAX product strategy for EN Plant Optimization
- Define the product roadmap and new features that will help grow the overall business
- Work closely with R&D to implement portfolio recommendations and prioritize new product developments
- Understand and anticipate external market needs and customer requirements
- Interface with internal functions like product development, operations, financials, marketing, sales, and service
- Own go-to-market messaging including internal messaging documents and sales/customer-driven demos
- Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities with business development colleagues
- Support identifying interesting M&A opportunities
- Accountable for yearly business orders, margin, and related financial targets of the product portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in chemical, control or electrical engineering, or equivalent
- 15+ years of experience in product management
- Experience in developing energy, process and emissions optimization solutions
- Knowledge of software-related business models for energy industry segments
- Strong understanding of modern ways of developing products and on the latest ICT technologies (Cloud, Edge, AI)
- Relevant experience in Energy Industries (Refineries, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Power Generation)
- Ability to translate service concepts and external requirements into clear value propositions and technical requirements
- Well-developed communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills
