About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the sales of ABB's low and medium voltage electrical equipment within the El Paso - Albuquerque Trade Areas.
- Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
- Communicate to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions.
- Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value proposition to customers.
- Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university / college and 5+ years of sales experience, OR, GED with 8+ years of sales experience.
- Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential products to electrical contractors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry / ABB products.
- Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Customer focused mindset with ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
- Able to travel throughout the territory as needed.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
