About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function.
  • Execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.
  • Manage the end-to-end PR to PO process for procurement activities in SAP, ensuring compliance.
  • Monitor open purchase orders, coordinate Goods Receipt (GR) activities, and support invoice processing.
  • Track procurement processes and operational performance, creating and maintaining reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support supplier lifecycle activities, including registration and qualification.
  • Execute purchasing and logistics-related changes within the assigned scope.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficient in business English (B2/C1) and German (B2/C1)
  • Highly skilled in operational procurement and supply chain processes
  • Experience in operational procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Enhanced knowledge of SAP; hands-on experience with SAP Ariba is a strong advantage
  • Highly adept in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with procurement data, reporting, and process tracking
  • Passionate about customer service and innovative around problem-solving, teamwork, and building effective relationships
  • Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented approach, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
