About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take ownership of this role: you will be responsible for developing and managing industrial customer relationships and supporting distribution partners within your sales territory.
- Drive the sales of Electrification products, systems, services, and solutions across the Southern Region (Styria, Carinthia, and southern Burgenland).
- Continuously increase sales volume and profitability by managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term partnerships based on trust and value creation.
- Prepare and implement sales plans and customer proposals in close collaboration with Marketing, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders.
- Monitor customer needs, market developments, and industry trends; contribute to identifying new market opportunities and support the development and execution of effective sales and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed higher technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or equivalent) or a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in technical sales, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Solid knowledge of industrial technologies and applications, particularly in OEM and MRO markets.
- Strong passion for sales and customer engagement, with experience managing both direct customers and distribution partners.
- Proven ability to establish, maintain, and further develop sustainable customer relationships across various stakeholder levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory and a self-driven, structured, and results-oriented working style.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in German and English, combined with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
