About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and lead a high-performing automation and manual testing team
Define testing strategies and implement advanced automation frameworks using Selenium, Tosca, and Playwright
Drive quality standards across the organization
Lead and mentor a team of automation and manual QA engineers
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
Design and implement comprehensive test automation strategies
Establish and maintain test automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
Oversee the development and optimization of automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile testing
Drive integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to define testing scope and requirements
Conduct regular code reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 7-10 years of software testing experience with 3+ years in test automation leadership
Expert-level proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with complex framework design
Strong hands-on experience with Tosca Automation (TOSCA UI, TOSCA Service Virtualization)
Proficiency in Playwright for modern web automation testing with advanced programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Deep understanding of automation testing frameworks (POM, Data-Driven, BDD, Keyword-Driven) and Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or Behave
Proficiency in API testing using tools like REST Assured, Postman, or Karate DSL
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Expertise in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
Database knowledge (SQL) and backend testing capabilities
Experience with containerization (Docker)
ISRQB certification will be added advantage
