About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a business partner to the NEMA Business Line manager and leads local finance teams to optimize the financial performance.
  • Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
  • Recommend the most appropriate business solutions.
  • Drive and improve financial performance of the business line NEMA per the division targets.
  • Lead, provide guidance, and facilitate best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices.
  • Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency.
  • Secure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 or more years experience as a senior finance manager (Operations & Sales)
  • You enjoy working in a global environment
  • Bring a hands on approach while driving strategic moves to improve financials
  • Experienced in leading and international team from different functional backgrounds.
  • Degree in finance (Masters preferred but not required)
  • You are at ease communicating in English with senior management (i.e. Division President & CFO)
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
