About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the global sales function and serve as a member of the Business Line Management Team.
- Define and execute the commercial strategy across all BL Mining & Materials businesses.
- Drive profitable growth, strategic account development, market expansion and commercial excellence worldwide.
- Work closely with business unit leaders, cluster managers and country sales organizations.
- Shape ABB’s commercial success in the mining, cement and battery materials industries.
- Develop and execute the global sales strategy, build and coach an international sales leadership team.
- Ensure alignment between business priorities, customer needs and growth opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Significant experience in global sales leadership, business development or commercial management within mining, process industries, automation, electrification or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies across international markets.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading global and culturally diverse teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen including strategic account management, negotiations and business planning.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior customer and business leaders.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
