About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility.
- Support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice.
- Ensure effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.
- Drive Positive Behavioral Change by empowering teams to embrace a risk-aware culture.
- Facilitate collaborative incident investigations to extract insights and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Provide timely HSE incident reporting to management and stakeholders.
- Create feedback loops that distribute lessons learned across ABB, encouraging proactive risk identification.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed education or degree in HSE or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HSE experience in an international industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Good communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and an initiative-driven mindset.
- Structured, well-organized, and detail-oriented way of working.
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
- Open to travel 10-20%.
