Lead Manager, Business Line Industries, Robotics
ABBLead Manager for ABB's Industries Robotics business line managing multiple market segments across Central & Eastern Europe. Responsible for P&L and driving customer relationships in a hybrid work model.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop performance targets aligned with global and regional objectives, while driving a proactive approach to market development.
- Lead the Sales and Commercial organization across the Cluster.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers throughout the region.
- Partner with HR to ensure the business line is effectively staffed, assessed, developed, and equipped with the capabilities required to meet current and future business needs.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities, determining the appropriate business priorities in alignment with regional and global strategies.
- Develop and execute the Industries Business Line strategy, ensuring close alignment with the global Robotics strategy.
- Participate in senior leadership forums with regional and global stakeholders on topics including health, safety, environment, quality, workplace practices, and other business-critical initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical, operational, or business leadership roles.
- At least 8 years of experience managing the full business lifecycle within the industrial automation industry.
- Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in a global matrix organization.
- Proven track record of leading automation businesses or teams within industrial companies.
- Strong commercial acumen with a customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), with the belief that HSE is everyone's responsibility.
