About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop an effective business area strategy within the Great Lakes Territory and maintain it.
- Improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations.
- Define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Communicate to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions.
- Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value proposition to customers.
- Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
- Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration or technical field with a minimum 7 years related experience, OR Master’s degree in Engineering, or Marketing, or Business Administration or technical field with a minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Experience selling to electrical contractors required.
- Understanding and experience with full portfolio of products and services (including power distribution one-line and installation products)
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
