Trade & Transportation Specialist – Virtual Operations
ABBTrade and Transportation Specialist responsible for local import/export operations, supervising customs brokers and managing trade activities in Mexico. Supporting operational trade compliance in Juarez, Nuevo Leon.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for local import/export operations.
- Supervise performance of customs brokers.
- Ensure smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities.
- Manage necessary documentation and online forms for import/export activities.
- Maintain knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors Degree in International Trade, Commerce, Logistics or Industrial Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics and transportation roles.
- Experience in foreign trade.
- Knowledge in virtual programs (IMMEX Program).
- Experience in Impo & Expo.
- Keep records & archive for any government programs related to plants inventories. (OAS, CTPAT and VAT Certification).
- Plus experience in SAP & Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for logistics data analysis and reporting.
- Intermediate English.
