About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy.
  • Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Showcase expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
  • Communicating to customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent education.
  • 7+ years of experience in the metals industry, with understanding processes in the industry and some detailed knowledge of some of the metals applications i.e. Material Handling, Primary Metals (Melting & Casting), Hot and Cold Rolling Mills and Processing Lines.
  • Knowledge of AC, DC Drives, Motors, Switchgears, MCC's and Process Automation.
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in the metals industry and manage the customers accounts techno commercially for solutions and service business.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with the existing customers and skills to make cold calls to establish the relationship with the new/unreached customers.
  • Ability to learn and absorb different relevant tools available within Process Division Industry for metals market.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of general business software/platforms like Microsoft word, excel, SFDC, etc.
  • Ability to internalize the customer requirements/information and communicate with the supporting team to have the proper equipment/systems configured for the opportunities.
  • Communicating in English.
