About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for business development and new business growth for ABB Drives division
- Generate new business growth through brand and product acceptance
- Close partnership/coordination with Channel Sales, Channel Program and OEM Team peers
- Documenting customer stakeholders and buying behaviors
- Clearly communicating attack vectors through product positioning and solutions
- Leverage knowledge of Chemical Oil and Gas industry trends and customer need to develop compelling value propositions
- Leading sub-segment execution strategy and defining go-to-market approaches
- Support and advise global Chemical Oil and Gas team with US market insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience with capital assist sales in the industrial Chemical Oil and Gas upstream (non-artificial lift) industry and industrial equipment applications in upstream (non-artificial lift), battery storage facilities (separators, vapor recovery units, pumps, fans) and processed water transfer & treatment
- In-depth knowledge of low voltage Variable Frequency Drives, Motors and related equipment
- Demonstrated success in assessing and analyzing customer need and projected requirements
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Proven domain expertise in subsegments and applications in the industrial Chemical Oil and Gas industry upstream (non-artificial lift) and downstream segments
- Demonstrated success in achieving AVL product specification from customers
