About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and development work in innovation projects that often involve a wide variety of stakeholders
- Project management activities in our technology and research projects: operative management, risk management, cost estimation and budgeting, stakeholder management etc.
- Preparing funding applications to Business Finland, EU Horizon Europe, and other relevant funding sources
- Disseminating our newest innovations through writing publications, speaking at events etc.
- Depending on the applicant, also standardization activities can be included in the role
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or M.Sc. degree from relevant field ( e.g. electrical engineering)
- Profound understanding of energy systems, distribution networks, smart grids and related ICT technologies ( e.g. standards such as IE 61850 and communication technologies such as 5G), and simulation environments ( e.g. RTDS)
- Project leadership and management experience
- Hands-on experience related to innovation networks, cooperation models, and innovation funding mechanisms
- Good communication skills, experience in dissemination activities such as writing publications is considered a benefit
- Fluency in English and Finnish , both written and spoken
