About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Medium Voltage Switchgear (MV SWG) team in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment.
- Ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities.
- Perform various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.
- Conduct valuation of market size and trends, as well as competitor analyses including identification of offering gaps and evaluating ABB’s market standing.
- Ensure whether technical solutions can be used across the Product Group’s offer portfolio to the maximum possible extent.
- Manage the technical specification of the assigned products and support the Product Manager in developing the business case on offer developments, maintenance, and cost reduction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (or related)
- 5+ years of experience in Medium Voltage Applications
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of NEC/ANSI/NEMA standards, SLD interpretation.
- Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of Electrical Distribution Solutions in MV
- You are at ease communicating in English, Spanish will be a plus.
- Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
