About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and oversee innovative network solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategies
Develop, design, and implement advanced enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, data center, and cloud connectivity)
Create high-level and detailed technical designs, network diagrams, and documentation
Ensure network architectures meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to enhance infrastructure efficiency and resilience
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for network technologies
Collaborate with security architects to design robust and compliant solutions
Lead the deployment of network solutions in enterprise and hybrid cloud environments
Provide technical leadership in RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and solution selection
Translate business needs into technical specifications and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership regarding network strategies
Ensure network architecture adheres to best practices for availability, security, and disaster recovery
Provide escalation-level support for complex issues during project deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty are highly desirable
10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including at least 3 years in an architecture/design role
Strong background in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies from Cisco, HPE Aruba, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, etc.
Proven experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments
Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
