About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and oversee innovative network solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategies
- Develop, design, and implement advanced enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, data center, and cloud connectivity)
- Create high-level and detailed technical designs, network diagrams, and documentation
- Ensure network architectures meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to enhance infrastructure efficiency and resilience
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for network technologies
- Collaborate with security architects to design robust and compliant solutions
- Lead the deployment of network solutions in enterprise and hybrid cloud environments
- Provide technical leadership in RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and solution selection
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership regarding network strategies
- Ensure network architecture adheres to best practices for availability, security, and disaster recovery
- Provide escalation-level support for complex issues during project deployments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty are highly desirable
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including at least 3 years in an architecture/design role
- Strong background in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies from Cisco, HPE Aruba, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, etc.
- Proven experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
