About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.
- Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
- Apply basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
- Planning, monitoring, and executing application development tasks, including new product development, incremental modifications.
- Providing technical support for testing, installation, commissioning, debugging, and diagnostics activities.
- Translating conceptual designs into detailed engineering documentation through modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
- Assisting in preparing engineering proposals and presentations, and maintaining effective communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and managing project risks/issues, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation or related discipline).
- Minimum 5-7 years of application development and support experience within Indian business environment, preferably in multinational companies.
- Well-developed understanding of Industrial Automation systems like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control and robotic systems
- Demonstrable experience in building strong and enduring customer relationships within highly dynamic and competitive markets
- Willing to travel for site support and commissioning as required.
